Hello X-HEEPers! Hello colleagues and friends!
From the Embedded Systems Laboratory (ESL) of EPFL we would like to extend to you the invitation to the third edition of the X-AGORA, the X-HEEP eXchange space.
Since its first commit 2-years ago, X-HEEP has rapidly grown into a collaborative, inter-disciplinary platform used by dozens of researchers in several countries. Hardware developers, analog designers, and software engineers have turned a reconfigurable-microcontroller platform into a full-stack research environment integrating everything from accelerators for edge AI to ultra-low-power CMOS logic. With all this work going on, we find the need to come together and share our experiences, to bond new and more powerful collaborations among our community.
The X-AGORA is a small collaborative presentation where we explain to newcomers what X-HEEP is, work teams can present their latest advances, and individuals can share their projects. Everyone is invited to join, so feel free to forward this invitation to anyone who you consider might be interested!
The X-AGORA will take place on December 16th at 11 AM. For organizational purposes, please register in this spreadsheet.
We will meet at INF 328, and an apéro/lunch will follow at noon. There is also a Zoom link available, but food will not be served online, though.
For those wishing to give a presentation, there are two possible formats:
Individual presentations: 1-slide, 1-minute presentations on any topic related to X-HEEP
Group presentations: few-slides, 5-minutes top, on larger projects (tape-outs, applications, support tools, etc)
You can already start adding your slides to the presentation, we trust you will all be careful not to override each other’s work. I will take care of standardizing the format and placing them in a proper order, just be sure to add your contact information at the bottom.
If you have questions, do not hesitate to reach out.
Hope to see you all soon!
On behalf of the X-HEEP team,
Juan Sapriza
